Dr Daniela Mollica - Chiropractor at Lifestyle Healthcare

Dr Daniela Mollica

Chiropractor

Daniela has always led an active life, and seeing a Chiropractor from an early age just seemed like part of the deal. Over the years, she has completed the Applied Kinesiology, Activator, and Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT) courses and uses a variety of techniques in the care she provides.

"Her mantra for health is movement—on both a micro and macro level. She'll always look to a natural approach first and loves being part of a practitioner team that supports and nurtures the optimal health of each patient."

Education, Experience & Qualifications

Daniela gained her degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 1995 and has enjoyed providing care to patients for over 30 years.

She initially worked as a locum, then as an associate, then with orthopaedic surgeons overseas. She later ran her own practice in Australia, worked in partnership, and for the last number of years has worked from home. She's excited to be returning to the communal atmosphere of a clinic.

Beyond the Clinic

A keen sportswoman, Daniela competed internationally as a cyclist when she was younger and enjoyed looking after a number of the pro peloton whilst living in Italy. She continues to compete as both a road and gravel cyclist in Australia with the Pana Organic Pedla race team, and enjoys ride-leading for large participation events like Peaks Challenge.

Her other great love is food, having grown up in restaurants and been involved in the creation of the Slow Food movement in both Melbourne and Italy. Together with her husband, she runs a farm in South Gippsland where they pasture-raise Italian cattle, the Chianina breed, which they sell to restaurants and directly to customers.

Daniela has three children, and helping teach them to make the healthiest choices possible is a daily challenge! As a family they enjoy travelling and skiing, although the rest of the team is faster than her—but she does her best to keep up.

Daniela has two speeds: full on and off, so spare time is limited. When it does present itself, she likes to bike-pack, travel, bush walk, ski, read, and tend her overgrown neglected veggie patch.
